Hyvää Itsenäisyyspäivää!!

Happy Independence Day, Finland! December 6, 1917 :-) You are 91 years young as an independent country. Of course they were really governing themselves long before that. So bring on the boring televised party where we all get to watch the president shake hands with people for two hours! It really is boring, but these Finnish people watch it. Monday everyone will be discussing who looked fashionable and who looked disasterous. And my friends that will probably be the highlight of the entire week. I kid you not! :-) Gotta love the Finns! I know I do!
