IT'S HERE!

I went and checked the mail as usual and had the best surprise! My PASSPORT IS FINALLY HERE! So tomorrow I am going to shimmy on over to the post office and drop my residency papers and both of my passports in the mail! Today is turning out to be such a good day! :-)

I knew it...

I had a feeling that when the DNA results were finally released that Larry Birkhead would be the father of Smith's baby. Not that I had a stake in it or anything, but I really would have been disappointed had the little girl turned out to be Howard K. Stern's daughter. Then again I never thought for a minute that she was. I'm glad the baby will no longer be in his custody. Congrats Larry, now take good care of that baby!

Chloe is just too good to be true! I could not have wrapped my head around things yesterday had it not been for her. She helped me pick out the tuxes for the guys and the accessories to go with them. I was honestly only there in person because my brain seemed to be else where. The tux experience wasn't quite what I was expecting though. I thought that there would be trying on and modeling and such, but the guy just measured and said that he was going to order them. I guess that is good enough. Not only did I get the tux issue taken care of yesterday, but I got to see my invites, and they are too cute for words. I love them! Chloe is just the best!! She even helped me decide that YES I really do NEED to buy the dress that I was looking at from Ann Taylor Loft to change into after the wedding. Hmm..I may even NEED to buy a cardigan to put on over it in the church. I don't want to be showing off too much in front of the people I see every Sunday! I am just relieved that things are falling into place. *Sigh of Relief*

It's finally here!

My wedding dress is finally in my possesion, and as long as I don't go crazy eatting everything in sight it should still fit a little over a month from now. Jessica met me at the Bridal shop in Fayetteville yesterday and helped me get into it for my final fitting. She loved it! She had already seen a pic of it, but it is different when you see it in person. The slip was a little difficult to get into yesterday as I was bloated (you just needed to know that little tidbit didn't ya?), but aside from that everything was just perfect. I just have to remind myself not to stop by McDonald's before I put the darn thing on! That could have been part of the problem yesterday, but...I don't care because I have my dress!!

Ok...not everything worked out today...

but that is ok. I did not get around to going to Belk's today, but I will be going to Church tonight. The place where I am having my hair done may do makeup as well, and if that is the case then it would be silly for me to go somewhere else to have it done. That would just be time consuming. I tried getting a hold of someone at Bo and Company but had no luck. I am going to call my aunt who set up the appointment for my hair to call and see if they do make up and can work me in if they do. The hair is scheduled for 9:30am...that is good, I just hope that my hair holds up. It is baby fine. Anywho...Chloe if you read this don't stress so much over the invites, I trust you completely! Well, time to get back to important stuff (as if blogging isn't important, right?).

Spring (Easter) Break begins today!!

That's right! I won't be working tomorrow because I am going to get my lovely bridal gown tomorrow from Fayetteville, and will be meeting up with my best friend while I am there. School is actually here tomorrow because they are making up a snow day, but not I!! I'm looking forward to having a nice relaxing week next week. Although I did find out today that I will be staying with the maternity leave until the 26th now instead of the 19th. The teacher is taking an extra week even though she is not going to be paid for it. That is alright though, it is more money in my broken bank account. I may even go shopping next week for myself. Get some new clothes, who knows?? Sigh...time to leave this place and go by Belk's and then go home. I'm debating on whether or not I'll feel like going to the Maundy Thursday service tonight. Hmm... maybe if Dad is going...therefore it is yet to be seen! A nap sounds like a good idea though! :-)

Whirlwind Weekend!

Friday I went to work and I have the world's worst sore throat right now, although I believe that is just from my sinuses. Got in from work and went straight to the 4H camp for the first day of the Spring Target Shooting Sports Workshop. So I got home at about 10pm. I was exhausted to say the least. Didn't get to go to the workshop Saturday because I had a day for wedding stuff planned with Dad. We went everywhere, but I have the groomsmen gifts now. I only have a few more things to take care of and we'll be good to go wedding wise. We didn't get home until after 10:30. I got my hair trimmed while we were out and had my layers re-defined, so my hair looks cute again. I also managed to find a little time to run into the bookstore and use a certificate I had and bath & bodyworks as well. I love getting free stuff! So I had a great day yesterday, but I did not sleep one wink last night. This morning when I got up at 6 to get ready for church and head over to the 4H camp (I had to give the written test this morning) I was drained! Luckily Jim had a nice pot of coffee brewed when I got there. I could not have functioned without it! What really made my morning though was hearing from Kai! He called me just before I left so I was all smiles! Moving along, I got to church this morning and met with the Preacher and 3 elders and joined the church. I have been going to this church since I was born (except for maybe 3 years), and everyone automatically assumed I was a member already. Needless to say there were a lot of people scratching their heads in the congregation this morning when the Preacher announced that I joined the church! I found it rather humerous myself. Now I am trying to relax. I really don't want to go back to work tomorrow because I could use another day in this weekend, but I won't make the money by staying home. I just hope I feel better by tomorrow! Hmm...I hope I didn't leave anything out of my update. If I did it will just have to stay left out!
