I am finally back at home, and I am going to be busy busy busy getting stuff ready for my trip to Finland. I'm hoping for either June 19th or 20th...I'll just have to run it by Joe and Chloe. I can't wait to get there and get my residency info resubmitted!! I'm going to have a few lonely (but busy) weeks ahead of me, so I am going to have to think positively and keep my spirits up. Anyway, I'm sleeping...yet again...so enough blogging!

Movie to see...

I definitely recommend going to see Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End. Kai, Dad, and I went to see it this afternoon while out on our adventure. I'm partial to the first one and the third one. It was so much better than Shrek the Third, which I was disappointed with. Sigh. Can't win them all I suppose.

Memorial Day Weekend

So I'm here at Chloe's looking after Marilyn and getting ready to take Kai to the airport tomorrow to go home. Do I want him to go? No. Will be far behind him? Another no. Dad came with me for a little bonding time, and so that I wouldn't have to drive in D.C. all by my lonesome on this Memorial Day weekend. So far it has been a nice trip. Wasn't so sure about bringing dad along, but he pretty much just does his own thing and leaves us to our own devices. I have to admit that it is very strange being here at Chloe's and there being no Chloe around. I'm sure she is having a most awesome time at the beach with her Mum and Joe's family though! Actually, the beach sounds really good right about now. I think in just a bit once everyone is up and running we're going to go shopping! One of my most favorite things to do!! Kai and I have a Barnes & Noble giftcard from Joe and Chloe just burning a hole in our pockets, and as luck would have it there is a B & N right down the street from us! Coincidence? I think not! Thanks J & C!! Anyhoo, time to get my day started post coffee!! Look out Mall here we come!!

It's over!!

The wedding is over and I am releived! I'm so glad that I had such supportive friends there to celebrate with Kai and I! Once again this is going to be a busy week, so there probably won't be too many posts. I may make a few this weekend from Joe and Chloe's place, but that will probably be it for the week! I've got a lot of catching up to do!

Busy week!

Got my proof book back with my Bridals and they were lovely. I had a tough time deciding which ones I would order first.

Going to meet Tiina and Florian at the airport tonight and bring them back to little ole Ellerbe. They are flying in from Denver today.

Can't wait to see Joe and Chloe on Friday. I'm sure I'll be frantic and she'll have to keep me in check!

So much left to do and so little time to do them! I still need programs printed but I don't know how they are supposed to look! Help Please!!

Leaving...

I know I haven't been great at posting lately. I will take a look at a few blogs and them come to mine thinking that I am going to post something, and then don't. And none of what I just typed has anything to do with what I am planning to post! I guess I said all that to say that I will be in Virginia for a couple of days because I am going to go pick up Kai. I am looking forward to seeing Chloe and the newly arranged apartment. I will definitely be using her "guest room reading chair" for my nightly before bed reading. Maybe we can even do a little shopping!! Kai you didn't see that!! So for those of you that periodically peruse my site I probably won't have any updates until Monday or Tuesday.
